Gary Moore Retirement – 2022
Wow, what a career it has been……..and hard to believe it is coming to an end..
I wanted to share the news that Gary Moore has decided to retire from his Golf Pro career here at Guelph Country Club. It is a career in which Gary has provided contributions that have spanned over 37 years of service. He is our resident subject matter expert for the Golf Industry who has worked tirelessly in the business development in support of members, guests, staff, vendors etc. . There have been many involved in our organization who can directly attribute their knowledge about the Golf business to Gary’s teaching and expertise – including myself. Thank-you Gary.
Gary is adored by many both internally and externally. His attention to detail, positive attitude, helpful hand, industry knowledge, and always willing to help attitude are just some of his attributes that have made him such a fantastic employee. Gary is the person who made our business and team better and more successful each day over those 37+ years.
While he will be dearly missed for the many reasons outlined above and many more, we are extremely happy for him and what will be next. I am sure family, friends and golf will be top priorities to start, with many new journeys and experiences to follow.
Gary’s last day was April 30th, 2022. Please join me in congratulating him on a tremendous career, thanking him for all his contributions and wishing him all the very best as he turns the page on this chapter in his life.
