Captain’s Report

Hello Ladies,

First off I would like to congratulate all the winners and runners up of the Club Championship, a lovely atmosphere and a wonderful finish. Thank you Paul Walton for doing such a great job 👏 in running the event and posting all the results.

I would also like to congratulate all the participants, as they are the ones who make the tournament so successful, it’s not easy going out there and managing to play bad golf ⛳️ and finish with a smile 😀. We had more participants this year than in any recent years, thanks!

Please make a note that September 21st will be our closing Scramble followed by lunch 🥙, hopefully on the patio. Tuesday, September 28th is our closing dinner, Covid-19 permitting, inside, with a limit of 60 people, more details to follow.

Until then Ladies we will continue with our usual friendly competitions.

Update on the over 70 Trophy 🏆.
We’ve had a couple missed weeks because of weather and postponement of events, but these are the leaders so far.
Jeannine Roberts 15.5. Teresa Kane 15. Sue Lavigne and Franki Robinson 14.
Diane Harvey 13. Sue Martyn 12. Wendy Cuthbert and Roberta Cathcart 11.
Donna Knox 10.5. Heather Shipman and Celia Ferguson 10.
There are lots of 9’s, 8’s etc.. So far it’s not a one horse race!

As per normal I will send out the groupings and game instructions by Sunday afternoon, until then, stay cool 😎.
